SCRPC was established under the Construction Professionals Council Act, 2022 to register, regulate, and safeguard the quality of construction services delivered in Seychelles.

Who must register

Architects, engineers, and surveyors delivering construction services.

The register covers the construction services defined in the Act: architecture, engineering, and surveying (including quantity and building surveying).

Architecture

Plans, designs, specifications, and supervision for building works.

Engineering

Civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other prescribed branches.

Surveying

Quantity and building surveying services, cost planning, and assessments.

Technicians are classified as a construction professional class under the 2025 Order.

Membership classes

Choose the class that matches your qualifications.

SCRPC recognizes professional, graduate, corporate, provisional graduate, and technician membership classes so applicants are assessed fairly.

Professional Member

Postgraduate + 2 years, undergraduate + 4 years, or exam + 10 years’ experience.

Graduate Member

Holds a degree in a construction discipline and practices under supervision.

Corporate Member

Firms providing construction services and employing a professional member.

Provisional Graduate

For early-career graduates completing required documentation.

Technician

Classified by the 2025 Order for recognized technical practitioners.

Registration process

A clear, accountable path from application to certificate.

Applications are screened, assessed by an appointed assessor, reviewed by the Credential Committee, and approved for certification.

Start your application and select your membership class.

Step 02

Submit documents

Upload qualifications, CV, declaration, and payment slip.

Step 03

Initial screening

Secretariat confirms completeness and eligibility.

Step 04

Application review

Documents are evaluated and status updated.

Step 05

Acknowledgement

Applicants receive status updates or requests for more info.

Step 06

Assessor selection

The Council appoints an assessor for review.

Step 07

Assessor report

Assessment report is submitted to SCRPC.

Step 08

Credential decision

Credential Committee makes the final decision.

Step 09

Certificate issued

Successful applicants receive a certificate of registration.

  • Completed application form and declaration.
  • CV and educational certificates.
  • Supporting documents (if any).

Processing targets

  • Acknowledgement within 30 working days.
  • Decision within 90 working days after a complete application.
  • Possible 30-day extension with notice.
